Bill Requires Calorie Labeling on Menu

"A bill introduced in the U.S. Congress would require fast-food and other chain restaurants to post calories and nutrition information on menus."

  1. I agree with this article. As Americans we have a high rate of obesity in this country. The food is appetizing but the customer doesn’t have any knowledge of what the calories entail. Revealing to the American public the calories list is an excellent way for the customers to become conscience as to what they are putting in their bodies. This solution will help solve the problem of the high obesity rate that has shortened many lives. It is unbelievable that the Los Angeles Times reports that a large chocolate shake at McDonald’s has more calories than two Macs or that a multigrain bagel at Dunkin’ Donuts has 140 more calories than a jelly doughnut.
