Can you guess what type of a course would have this in the syllabus?
I'll let someone else guess. I have taken this class, and let me tell you these policies are enforced. : )
ReplyDeleteAnd I can tell you that this class is NOT Principles of Macroeconomics - the course I am teaching this semester (although it would be fun to put this on my syllabus to see if anyone notices!)
ReplyDeleteObviously a piano performance class. Do we offer classical guitar? It would be interesting to see a syllabus that mandates this for the left hand, but mid-length nails clearly rounded and polished for the right hand.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, the beloved fingernail trimming policy. Philip is correct, this is for piano performance classes.
ReplyDeleteHaha, what about the policy for all fingers in a guitar class, except for the thumb of the non-dominant hand (thumb's fingernail typically does not interfere with chord formation) :)
ReplyDeleteThe commentators are in fact correct - it is a piano class policy (not economics, English, philosophy, or religion).
